Serving Local Food Banks & Parishioners

Intercession’s community garden is our gift to the community. The garden is lovingly tended by Intercession Parishioners, who help plant our vegetables, weed our beds and water and harvest the crops which this year yielded over 1699 serving of produce! The majority of our harvest is delivered to local food banks, with just a small portion going to our volunteer gardeners. The garden is associated with the Adams County Community Gardens CO-OP and coordinated through the RSVP Department of the Senior Hub. Keep Thornton Beautiful provides funding to help establish the gardens.
